Skyrim: Glitch

Description

So I started playing Skyrim for the first time in a while, the game was fine and all, I got pretty far in just a week.

I conquered the thieves guild, I rose to the top of the mages guild, I even kept the companions afloat.

My time in Skyrim was coming to another end. There's just one thing I had to do at first and then I could retire till the next Elder-scrolls. I had to beat the main-story line.

The more I went through the main quest-line, the more I kept thinking, "I'm almost done". And I was. But for some reason, the game got considerably harder. I had to move the difficulty down to adept.

Even then strange things kept happening, at one point my computer started jittering due to the twelve dragons flying across my screen. I had no choice but to retreat and wait them out. But before I got very far, a hoard of Daedra appeared, it was like the game didn't want me to finish. My screen started wigging out again, which was strange because I should be able to handle a group of Daedra on my comp.

Even stranger as I ran from them, they seemed to stop just enough each time that I would only be persuade if I got any closer to the next quest marker. I decided "Screw this" and hit the tilde button, bringing up the console. I typed the magic command "TCL" and flew above their heads towards my next destination.

As I got closer, the game started to become EVEN MORE stranger if that was even possible. The music started playing that Skyrim theme song with the chanting, but it was a strange chanting, and it was much slower than I remember.

And the earth beneath my character was starting to stretch and skew wildly, I thought my graphics card was having a melt down.

The mobs below me were also seeming to melt into the earth and bubble in weird ways. Finally the game seemed to start correcting its self just as I got a CTD. "Damn". I though. "Now I got to  reload".

As I did so I got a phone call, I didn't remember changing my ringtone to that Skyrim theme, but it was the same as in-game, so I guess it was the right one after all. No one was on the line though, and the number was blocked.

The game seemed to want to talk it's time loading. It didn't even play the music when it finally got to the loading screen. I hit continue and the screen flashed several different shades of green, brown and black/grey.

I sighed. "Wow, loading screens are even messing up no-" I was cut off by what was a extremely unfamiliar place. My character was in a prison and she was wearing not the armor I had worked so hard for, but instead brown rags, and her hair was shorter than I originally made it. Spinning the camera around I nearly jumped out of my chair as the screen flickered and changed hues again finally settling on a blinking, slowly grinning, wide eyed horrid face.
I reached my keyboard just in time to grab this screen shot. I'm going to try and see what the hell's going on, but right now I have to go see who's playing that damn Skyrim music again outside my door. I'll keep you posted.
